For as long as I can remember, I have been a busy body whose least favorite word was “downtime,” which is why I never let my diagnosis of autoimmune digestive disease as a teen slow me down. I have also always been eager to learn, so from the age of 13 I sought out to research my condition and understand the best ways to support my body in optimal health. After obtaining my BFA from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), I began pursuing my passion for understanding nutrition deeply and communicating it well in a professional setting. As a lover of movement, health, learning and connecting with the people and places around me, I am driven to help others find joy in a healthy and active lifestyle
This passion, along with Nutrition Certifications from the International Sports Science Association and Precision Nutrition Programs, led me to create Nutrition with Noel. My mission is to separate the truths of functional nutrition from the trends of diet culture while creating achievable wellness plans tailored to fit individuals’ lifestyles. I believe the preparation of good food should be fulfilling, not overwhelming, and that an effective nutrition plan brings rewarding solutions, not restrictive complications, to the table. What we eat has the power to either fight or fuel disease, and I hope that Nutrition with Noel can provide individuals with resources to choose life for themselves and their loved ones.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, where I will graduate as a Certified Nutrition Specialist. When I am not in the office, you can typically find me running Greenville's beautiful trails with my pup, Eden, working on a home project, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen!
